50 cupcakes For A 50th Wedding Anniversary

Hi Lorelie:
I would first like to thank you for your orange cake recipe.
I made this cake and used the white chocolate Italian meringue buttercream in between with the raspberries as my in-laws main (the cutting cake) for their recent 50th Anniversary celebration.
I made 50 cupcakes for the event, and I used the Italian Meringue on the cupcakes too which was perfect as the cupcakes were vanilla cupcakes and not too sweet which complimented the sweetness of the Italian Meringue Buttercream. I also made butterflies and violets for the top of the cupcakes. The butterflies were made from sugar paste and the violets from royal icing.
Anyway, thanks for your advice throughout this whole daunting process.
