Catch of a Lifetime

Grooms Cake

I made this cake for my sons wedding. This was for his Grooms table. Everything is edible except the greenery and the spinner bait.

When he walked out and saw the cake he was speechless being it was a catch of a lifetime.

How I Did It

The fish cake is made out of cereal treats wrapped in fondant, the fins were cut out and molded of fondant by hand and painted with tinted food coloring. The base of cake is chocolate cake, and the rocks around it were just for show.

so, i am a guy and i love this cake i wish we would have had a grooms cake like this one but my wife didn't even want a grooms cake in our wedding so maybe for our anniversary i will get a cake like this love it!
