Orchid Wedding Cake

My name is Mariah, I am finishing high school and this Orchid wedding cake is my third. I started 5 years ago making cakes for family and friends. This cake is four tiers with a beautiful "K" for the lovely couples name! I learned and became interested in cake decorating from watching Food Network and Cake Boss.

Cake Flavors

From the bottom to the top-
White and strawberry swirl,chocolate,carrot and red velvet

Cupcake flavors

Chocolate with peanut butter frosting, and carrot cake with cream cheese frosting
Finished with a beautiful rose tip design.

Decoration

I decorated this cake with beautiful orchids and a layered green and purple ribbon.

Tips

For applying the two ribbons without making a noticeable spot... Take double sided permanent tape and run it down the whole length of the ribbon. When you place your flowers on it is best to add a good amount of frosting on the flower so that it adheres to the cake more securely.
